Hermes III Launch

With Hermes I, II, and III, we incrementally improved the engineering design and professionalized our practices while cutting down our project timeline by half. Beginning in the summer of 2019, we planned out a rocket that is lighter, stronger, and more reliable than its ancestors. After a round of engineering change requests we improved our drawing standards, designed better tests and testing specifications, and improved our simulation capabilities. Then, in a flurry of a couple months we built the rocket. In late January 2020 we launched Hermes III, when at 8,000 feet going Mach 3 it disintegrated.
